Some of you may know Richard III from the Shakespearean play Richard III. Some of you may barely recognize his name from history classes from years ago. Some of you may know him as "The Carpark King" from 2012. Some of you may be history lovers and know all about him. Some of you may know nothing about him or even who Richard III is. Either way, Richard III was a very important figure in British History and people should know of him. It's 1483. Edward IV has died of an unknown cause. Poison? Malaria? Pneumonia? Either way, his twelve-year-old son, Edward V, is now king. Richard, Duke of Gloucester and Edward IV's brother, is the Lord Protector and in line for the throne. After Edward V and his brother disappeared under mysterious circumstances four months into his reign, Richard is crowned king and is now Richard III of England. The people are unhappy with him for multiple reasons, including the disappearance of his nephews. This brings down his reputation and people made him into a man who murdered his way to the throne and will murder to keep it like that.
